Where connection and growth go hand in hand.
BWG events aren’t about checking boxes or collecting Zoom links.
They’re designed to help you build confidence, grow your skills, and share what makes you stand out — whether you’re job hunting, refining your voice, or just craving more authentic connection.
From Momentum Sessions to Skill Studio to Insight Sessions, every experience is rooted in the belief that professional growth doesn’t have to feel lonely, transactional, or painfully awkward.
These spaces are built for community-powered clarity.
You bring your brilliance, and together we’ll help make it shine.
Skill Studio Sessions
Bring the draft. Build the confidence.
You’ve built momentum. Now it’s time to grow your confidence, refine your skills, and try things out loud before stepping into the spotlight.
Skill Studio Sessions are collaborative working sessions for professional women shaping something big — a workshop, a training, a pitch, a panel, a course — and looking for a safe, supportive space to test it, refine it, and make it stronger.
These aren’t polished keynotes. They’re practice rounds — with real feedback and real support.
How It Works
Each session features 1–2 community members who want to practice something in progress. That might mean:
Presenting a rough outline or slide deck
Testing transitions, audience prompts, or timing
Asking, “Does this land?” and “What’s missing?”
The rest of the group acts as a feedback circle, offering ideas, encouragement, and fresh perspectives.
Come to test something, or just come to learn. Either way, you’ll walk away sharper than you came in.
Sessions are scheduled based on presenter pitches. Request membership or subscribe to the newsletter to stay in the loop!
The Pitch Process
Skill Studio Sessions are for those still shaping their story — which means perfection is not the goal. But clarity of intent goes a long way.
Instead of a formal application, we ask presenters to submit a short pitch: what you're working on, what you want feedback on, and what kind of support would be most helpful.
Be ready to:
Share a draft, outline, or rough idea (even if it’s sticky-note-level)
Ask specific questions to guide the feedback circle (e.g. “Does this resonate?” or “Where am I losing people?”)
Offer the same generous feedback you hope to receive
There’s no pressure to present perfectly — just come willing to learn out loud.
This is for you if…
You’re designing your first (or second, or third) workshop or keynote address
You’re planning a panel, community event, or content series
You’re trying out a facilitation format or interactive activity
You’re exploring how to tell your story in a way that teaches, not just inspires
You’re building the muscle to speak with clarity, confidence, and purpose — on or off the stage
If you're learning out loud and want feedback before going big, this is the place for you.
Got something in the works? Let’s shape it.
Before applying, please take a moment to review our community guidelines.
This is the Grow stage of the BWG Journey.
Momentum Sessions | Where you build it
Skill Studio Sessions | Where you grow it
Insight Sessions | Where you share it
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just a bold idea and the curiosity to grow it.
